We are seeking a talented Senior .NET Core Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Senior .NET Core Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and building web-based applications and RESTful APIs, contributing to projects that require high scalability and performance. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build web-based applications using Microsoft ASP.NET MVC (C#) with over 5 years of experience.
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs with Microsoft ASP.NET Web API (C#).
  • Develop front-end web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including AJAX and client-side libraries).
  • Work with .NET Core 2+ and assist in migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
  • Utilize strong SQL skills and experience with database design and development in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Participate actively in the design and implementation of complex projects.
  • Use Git/GitHub for version control.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing using libraries such as MSTest, NUnit, Selenium, and Moq.
  • Familiarity with container architecture and Docker is a plus.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in web application development using ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with .NET Core and migration projects.
  • Proficient in SQL and database management.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure).
