Senior Mobile App Developer (React Native) - Cross-Platform Expert

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Mobile App Developer (React Native) to join our dynamic team at PeK Automotive. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, targeting both iOS and Android. What You'll Do

• Design and build responsive Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) that provide native-like experiences on mobile and desktop.
• Implement pixel-perfect, smooth user interfaces and animations following modern mobile UX best practices.
• Integrate mobile apps with REST/GraphQL APIs, third-party services, and in-app features.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable code with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and testability.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality releases.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest React Native and mobile ecosystem changes.
• Implement unit/integration tests and monitor app performance in production.
• Utilize Gradle for Android builds and troubleshoot build issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in mobile app development.
• Strong proficiency with React Native and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), React principles, and state management.
• Experience building and deploying Android apps, with familiarity in Gradle and Android Studio.
• Basic knowledge of iOS apps, including Xcode and App Store Connect.
• Practical experience developing Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
• Experience integrating mobile apps with backend services, ideally with exposure to Python/Django.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines experience.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with mobile-specific concerns like deep linking and permissions.
• Experience with WebSockets and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest and Detox.
