Senior Growth Engineer - Remote Position at Samsara

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Growth Engineer to join our innovative team at Samsara. This Senior Growth Engineer remote position is a unique opportunity to impact industries that run our world by driving measurable business growth through technology.

What You'll Do

• Build customer-facing self-serve products from the ground up using a combination of custom frontends, cloud applications, backend services, and scripts.
• Collaborate with product, design, marketing, sales operations, finance, and other go-to-market teams to implement growth initiatives.
• Leverage data to understand our customers and our funnel in depth, identifying areas of opportunity and executing projects to drive revenue, customer growth, retention, and engagement.
• Drive engineering discussions and write thoughtful documentation and unit tests.
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in full-stack or growth-focused environments.
• Proficiency in front-end development, particularly with JavaScript (ideally Vue.js).
• Strong skills in Python (Flask or similar frameworks) and experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, test, and deploy production-quality systems end-to-end.
• Excellent debugging, technical communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Strong business acumen and curiosity about growth strategy and customer journeys.
• Experience using AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Amplify, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Knowledge of tools like Turborepo, Terraform, Playwright, or similar.
