About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Backend-Heavy) to join our team at Voto Consulting LLC. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects while enjoying relocation support to Columbus, OH. As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing robust backend solutions, contributing to the overall success of our development team.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Build and maintain Microservices and REST APIs to support various applications.
  • Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data management.
  • Implement messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for real-time data processing.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers using frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Leverage AWS or Azure cloud services to enhance application performance.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Java Full Stack development with a focus on backend solutions.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
