About the Role

Confluent is hiring a Senior Engineer - Confluent Marketplace to join our dynamic team, working remotely from Canada. What You'll Do

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Confluent Kafka or similar streaming technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
