About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at GMG. This Senior Business Intelligence Developer remote position is crucial for developing and maintaining enterprise-grade Business Intelligence solutions that empower GMG's diverse retail portfolio. You will transform complex, multi-source retail data into actionable insights that drive business performance and customer-centric decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • Develop interactive BI dashboards in Power BI leveraging AI to enhance execution.
  • Customize visualizations to align with business KPIs and usability standards.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries across multiple data sources.
  • Create Natural Language Processing (NLP) features for business insights.
  • Maintain system health and manage user access for BI platforms.
  • Collaborate with data governance teams to uphold data privacy and integrity standards.
  • Engage with business leaders to translate strategic needs into scalable BI solutions.
  • Document data models and prepare training materials for end users.

Requirements

  • 7 to 8 years of overall work experience with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Power BI implementation.
  • Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools.
  • Expertise in NLP/NLG integration and embedding ML Models.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Any AI or BI certification is preferred.
