Truelogic is seeking a talented Senior Back-end Engineer (Ruby) - Remote to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our backend systems, leveraging your expertise in Ruby and contributing to impactful projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop, test, and deploy Ruby applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications, improving functionality and user satisfaction.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Ruby programming language, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails framework, demonstrating your ability to build robust applications.
• Some experience with React for front-end development would be desirable, enhancing your versatility.
• Familiarity with Git for version control, ensuring smooth collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork.
• Located in Latin America, with fluent English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) for deploying applications.
• Knowledge of database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
