About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative - Remote to join our dynamic team at Billtrust. As a leading provider of B2B order-to-cash software and digital payments solutions, we help finance leaders control costs, accelerate cash flow, and enhance customer satisfaction. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with new enterprise accounts and contribute to our mission of transforming traditional invoicing into efficient electronic billing.

What You'll Do

  • Engage new enterprise accounts through strategic prospecting and program strategies.
  • Convey Billtrust's value proposition effectively through tailored messaging and customer stories.
  • Execute program strategies by promptly following up with prospects to schedule meetings for our sales executives.
  • Learn the Billtrust buyer’s journey to develop a comprehensive view of the sales pipeline.
  • Hone your communication skills through collaboration with internal coaches on cold calling and objection handling.
  • Demonstrate active listening skills and ask meaningful questions during prospect calls.
  • Collaborate with sales executives on prospecting plans to effectively engage accounts.
  • Achieve pre-defined program conversion rates through adherence to cadence and feedback loops.
  • Participate in weekly role-playing exercises to enhance your conversations with various personas and verticals.
  • Complete certification in pre-defined product training to deepen your product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Ability to work within defined frameworks and follow up on tasks within set timeframes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Internship experience with a software as a service (SaaS) company is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess sales data and trends.
