About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Truss Designer to join our innovative team. As a Remote Truss Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and engineering of trusses for various construction projects. You will work closely with architects and engineers to create detailed blueprints and structural plans that meet client specifications and industry standards.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop truss systems using advanced software tools, including MiTek Software.
• Create detailed architectural plans and structural designs for multi-family construction projects.
• Utilize mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
• Collaborate with team members to review and refine designs based on client feedback.
• Prepare presentation materials and visual storytelling elements for client meetings.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in truss design or a related field.
• Proficiency in MiTek Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and blueprint reading.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UI/UX design and Figma.
• Knowledge of kitchen design and sales.
• Familiarity with design systems and template development.
