Remote Technical Project Manager - Data Platform

About the Role

We’re hiring a Remote Technical Project Manager to drive high-impact initiatives across our Data Platform. This role is crucial for managing complex, cross-functional projects that enhance and scale our data infrastructure. As a Remote Technical Project Manager, you will lead the development of our data lake, data vault, data marts, reverse ETL pipelines, and operational reporting systems.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects involving Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Clinical Ops.
• Facilitate roadmap planning and prioritization, managing the backlog and tech debt identification.
• Track cross-team dependencies and coordinate communications during incidents or ongoing issues.
• Support teams in delivering value through agile execution, ensuring reliable and predictable delivery.
• Translate business needs into robust, scalable data solutions while collaborating with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6 years of technical project management experience, preferably in SaaS or healthcare environments.
• Strong familiarity with AWS data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift) and modern data stack components (e.g., dbt, Airflow).
• Proven experience leading cross-functional data projects.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage projects using Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science).
• Certifications in AWS or data tools (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics).
• Experience working with remote technical teams across time zones.
