About the Role

As a Remote Software Engineering Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to developing innovative sleep comfort products that empower our customers to awaken their best every day.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of Emma’s technology platform, supporting our growth to become the number-one sleep brand in the world.
• Implement product features that enhance people’s sleep and support Emma's core business.
• Develop, maintain, and operate your team’s tech stack, embracing full DevOps practices.
• Contribute to the improvement of our CI/CD and DevOps & SRE practices.
• Collaborate as part of an agile team, gaining exposure to mobile development topics and honing your coding skills.

Requirements

• Availability to start on March 1, 2026.
• Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Business Informatics, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns.
• Familiarity with JavaScript or Golang as your primary backend programming language.
• Experience in software development and operational practices across the full software development lifecycle, ideally within an E-commerce environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a creative mindset, with a passion for taking ownership of projects.
• A public GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket account showcasing your coding projects is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Typescript, JavaScript, or Golang.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
