About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team at Alpaca. As a Sales Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to support our sales process across the LATAM region. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the growth of Alpaca's innovative financial services.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the product and technical subject matter expert for Alpaca's offerings, effectively communicating the value of our platform to partners.
  • Understand and articulate the regulatory and compliance landscape specific to the LATAM market.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to provide technical advisory throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Present compelling product and technical use cases to prospective clients, building trust in Alpaca's capabilities.
  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, actionable solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
  • Strong understanding of financial services, APIs, and technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with the LATAM market and its regulatory environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the crypto or fintech industry.
  • Knowledge of open-source technologies.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
