About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Finance Expert with a focus on cryptocurrency to join our innovative team at xAI. As a Remote Finance Expert, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our AI models by providing high-quality annotations and evaluations, specifically within the cryptocurrency and digital asset markets.

What You'll Do

• Utilize proprietary labeling tools to supply expert reasoning and high-quality annotations for AI models.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to create and refine new AI tasks related to cryptocurrency.
• Apply your deep domain knowledge to solve complex problems in quantitative crypto strategies.
• Conduct on-chain analysis, evaluate DeFi protocols, and analyze perpetual futures & derivatives trading.
• Engage in cross-exchange arbitrage and market microstructure analysis in fragmented venues.
• Implement MEV-aware execution strategies and develop machine learning models for crypto alpha signals.
• Manage portfolio and risk in high-volatility 24/7 markets.
• Deliver precise critiques and solutions in a dynamic environment, adapting quickly to evolving instructions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on cryptocurrency and digital assets.
• Proven expertise in quantitative analysis and problem-solving within crypto markets.
• Strong communication skills to effectively share knowledge and insights with team members.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a flat organizational structure.
• Experience with machine learning applications in finance is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with DeFi protocols and their implications in market strategies.
• Experience in developing trading algorithms or quantitative models.
• Knowledge of regulatory considerations in the cryptocurrency space.
