Remote Engineer - ICPMS/​GCMS Technical Support

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Engineer - ICPMS/GCMS Technical Support to join our team at Agilent Technologies. In this role, you will provide essential post-sales technology support to our customers, utilizing your expertise in ICPMS and GCMS technologies to resolve issues efficiently. This position allows you to work remotely while making a significant impact in the field of scientific research.

What You'll Do

• Provide remote technical support for ICPMS and GCMS technologies, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Utilize remote diagnostic capabilities to resolve technical issues effectively.
• Engage in proactive preventive actions to enhance customer experiences.
• Support third-party products as needed and may require occasional travel to customer sites.
• Leverage customer interactions to identify potential revenue opportunities.
• Work full-time with a schedule aligned to Pacific time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or Microbiology.
• 4+ years of relevant experience with ICPMS or GCMS technologies.
• Strong logical troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Experience with 21CFR compliance software is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
• Familiarity with remote diagnostic tools.
