About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Associate Principal to join our US Market Access practice at Avalere Health. This role is pivotal in shaping market access strategies for life sciences products, ensuring that every patient receives the care they need. You will leverage your expertise to drive solutions that enhance patient access and support our mission to reach every patient possible.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on life sciences market access and commercialization priorities, focusing on coverage, coding, and payment considerations.
  • Conceptualize solutions around critical market access challenges, including launch planning and pricing strategies.
  • Drive thought leadership on pipeline commercialization strategy, including opportunity assessments and customer engagement.
  • Interact regularly with clients, enhancing firm visibility and establishing yourself as a recognized expert.
  • Lead significant lines of business and ensure project profitability while managing client relationships effectively.
  • Conduct quality reviews of documents produced by project teams, ensuring clarity and relevance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and leverage Avalere’s unique capabilities to drive growth.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, supporting team members’ professional development and career growth.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in public policy, public health, or related fields preferred.
  • 8+ years of work experience, with prior consulting experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of US market access strategy and commercialization of life sciences products.
  • Proven track record in driving business development and leading client-facing engagements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with government pricing programs and regulatory filing considerations.
  • Familiarity with digital health solutions and diagnostics.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to articulate Avalere’s value to clients.
