About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a remote capacity. What You'll Do
- Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions under the indirect supervision of a pharmacist.
- Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners, ensuring accuracy and authenticity.
- Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
- Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to assess prescriptions and monitor patient drug therapy.
Requirements
- Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Sobeys National Pharmacy Group Computer systems.
- Relevant post-secondary education.
- Excellent customer service skills.
