Registered Pharmacy Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our customers. What You'll Do

• Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions under the indirect supervision of a pharmacist.
• Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners, ensuring accuracy and authenticity.
• Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to assess prescriptions and monitor patient drug therapy.

Requirements

• Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for days, evenings, and weekends.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Sobeys National Pharmacy Group Computer systems.
• Relevant post-secondary education.
• Excellent customer service skills.
