Quality Auditor - Remote Position
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Auditor to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Quality Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves performing inspections and audits of finished products, sub-assemblies, incoming materials, and in-process production to guarantee adherence to company and customer specifications.
What You'll Do
- Conduct final, in-process, and incoming inspections following applicable procedures and quality standards.
- Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming products; notify production supervision as necessary.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports, records, and quality documentation.
- Support functional and visual evaluations of finished products to determine compliance with specifications.
- Assist in evaluating supplier scrap and determining disposition.
- Ensure compliance with process controls through first-piece and process inspections.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of quality tools and data collection systems, such as rejection charts and control charts.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the company quality system (AS9100).
- Initiate actions to prevent non-conformities and halt production when necessary.
- Represent customer quality requirements in relevant internal functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Effective communication and influencing abilities.
- A continuous improvement mindset.

Who Will Succeed Here
