President of Sales and Marketing - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced President of Sales and Marketing to join our team in a remote capacity. This strategic leadership role is essential for overseeing all sales and marketing functions for our established retail home construction company based in South Carolina. As the President of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Lead the sales and marketing teams to maximize return on investment (ROI) for lot inventory, ensuring optimal revenue and lifecycle efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Land, Finance, and Operations, to analyze market conditions and adjust pricing strategies to combat margin erosion.
- Supervise the Marketing Manager and Online Sales Consultant, providing strategic direction for branding, advertising, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Establish forecasting models that integrate pricing, incentives, and market data to support data-driven decisions.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the sales department to ensure compliance with company policies and state real estate laws.
- Oversee the preparation and negotiation of sales contracts, ensuring timely processing and resolution of complex customer negotiations.
- Work closely with the executive leadership team to align sales performance with company goals and drive overall business success.
- Engage in community service initiatives as part of our commitment to investing in the community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in residential home building or real estate.
- Proven success in managing and motivating sales teams, with a track record of closing at least 500 homes in a year.
- Strong understanding of real estate contracts and homebuyer financing.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to embody company core values and drive a results-oriented culture.

- Experience in dynamic pricing strategies and sales velocity optimization.
- Familiarity with digital marketing trends and tools.

What We Offer
- Competitive base salary in the range of $200,000 - $225,000, with performance pay of 50% of base.
