What You'll Do

• Support the communications team with day-to-day coordination using workflow tools like Monday.com to keep the communications calendar organized.
• Track media coverage and prepare regular reports to assess the impact of our communications efforts.
• Assist with CFC’s awards program by drafting and submitting entries to showcase our achievements.
• Upload press releases and content to our online resource center to ensure all materials are accessible.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to create clear and engaging content that resonates with our audience.
• Partner with the content team to align media coverage, blogs, and articles with our broader marketing strategies.
• Support the digital team by amplifying coverage across social media channels to enhance our online presence.
• Draft press releases, expert comments, and reactive statements with guidance from senior team members.

Requirements

• A degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in PR or communications, ideally within Financial Services, Insurance, or Fintech.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities with excellent time and task management skills.
• Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
• Familiarity with key communications channels, including PR, social media, and digital platforms.
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and workflow tools such as Monday.com.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage journalist inquiries effectively.
• Creative thinker with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a B2B environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic design tools is a plus.
