Outpatient Medicaid Eligibility Representative - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an Outpatient Medicaid Eligibility Representative to join our team remotely. In this role, you will assist patients in understanding their insurance eligibility and navigate the Medicaid process. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service and want to make a difference in the healthcare industry.

What You'll Do

• Screen and interview patients for insurance eligibility, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.
• Provide comprehensive documentation to meet goals and quality standards.
• Work in an outbound dialer environment to reach out to patients effectively.
• Complete in-office training on Medicaid eligibility to enhance your knowledge and skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold customer service standards throughout all interactions.
• Work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with remote work options available after initial training.
• Potential for a monthly bonus based on performance metrics.
• Participate in paid training sessions to ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a call center environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare eligibility is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM is required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Medicaid or insurance processes.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
