Occupational Health Technician - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join our team remotely. In this role, you will develop and support the implementation of health improvement programs and workplace conditions through evaluations and inspections. What You'll Do

• Support the development and implementation of programs aimed at preventing and improving employee health and overcoming health issues that hinder company objectives.
• Control absenteeism due to illness, prevent occupational diseases, and promote health education.
• Conduct integration programs for new employees, familiarizing them with practices and procedures related to the medical office and occupational health.
• Provide initial medical care to employees with work-related illnesses and accidents, including performing first aid, measuring blood pressure, and temperature, and referring them to the occupational physician as necessary.
• Assist in conducting admission, periodic, and termination medical examinations, interviewing employees, measuring blood pressure, weight, etc., and referring them to the physician for clinical examination.
• Maintain control of materials and medications, requesting replenishment/acquisition when necessary.
• Ensure the sterilization of medical office equipment.
• Keep files and records updated and ensure all information is current in the system.
• Conduct training for first responders and participate in drills and accident investigations.
• Support all occupational health campaigns within the company, such as managing employee blood donation records and coordinating with hospitals.

Requirements

• Technical Nursing Course
• Specialization in Occupational Health Nursing
• Active COREN registration
• Valid CNH B
• Proactive, organized, and good time management skills
• Experience with software tools
• Willingness to work in a mixed recruitment environment (internal and external)
• Must reside in Avaré, Manduri, Óleo, Águas de Santa Barbara, Cerqueira César, Iaras, or Pratânia/SP
