About the Role

Join Binance as an MLRO in a remote capacity, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping compliance strategies within the dynamic crypto landscape. As an MLRO, you will develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs that align with regional and international regulations, including AML/CTF and KYC.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement compliance programs in line with AML/CTF, KYC, and sanctions compliance.
  • Monitor internal controls to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations, particularly in the MENA region.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage regulatory inquiries and reporting obligations.
  • Coordinate with global compliance teams to ensure consistent practices across the organization.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify gaps in the compliance framework.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Implement continuous improvements to the compliance program's effectiveness.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to promote a culture of integrity and transparency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, AML/CTF, or regulatory affairs.
  • Extensive knowledge of MENA regulations including DFSA, FSRA, VARA, or CBB.
  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Direct experience in crypto, fintech, or Web3 is mandatory.

  • Experience with compliance technology solutions.
