Marketing Intern - Influencer & UGC for FinTech

About the Role

We are hiring a Marketing Intern for Influencer & UGC to join Wealthsimple's dynamic team this summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the influencer marketing space while working remotely and collaborating with our Toronto headquarters.

What You'll Do

• Source and identify creators across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) that align with Wealthsimple's brand and campaign goals.
• Own outreach to prospective creator partners—crafting personalized messages and managing responses.
• Manage creator relationships through the pipeline, keeping conversations moving and flagging updates to the manager.
• Provide first-line support to our creator partners—helping troubleshoot issues with campaign logistics.
• Help execute campaigns end-to-end once briefed—keeping creators on schedule and deliverables on track.
• Maintain and organize our creator database, tracking outreach status, pipeline stage, and partnership details.
• Suggest improvements to outreach, workflows, or creator experience based on daily observations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student at a Canadian post-secondary institution or technical bootcamp.
• New graduates within 6 months of your graduation date are also eligible.
• Available to work full-time hours during the internship period.
• Residing in Canada and able to commute to our Toronto HQ on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• A natural communicator with a warm, professional tone.
• Excited to learn about the creator economy and what makes brand-creator partnerships work.
• Familiar with social platforms and have a sense for what good creator content looks like.

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI tools (like ChatGPT or Claude) to enhance research and workflow tasks.
• Bonus points if you are a creator yourself!
