About the Role

We are seeking a talented macOS Desktop Engineer remote to join our team at JPS Tech Solutions. This role is crucial for the expansion of our enterprise macOS environment, which is set to be fully operational alongside Windows by October 1st. You will play a key role in supporting the buildout of this environment and ensuring that our macOS platform is robust and efficient.

What You'll Do

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for macOS devices, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Administer macOS devices using Microsoft Intune, including configuration profiles and compliance policies.
  • Deploy applications and create custom scripts using Bash and PowerShell for automation.
  • Develop and implement macOS onboarding workflows utilizing Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
  • Collaborate with the Workstation Management and Helpdesk teams to ensure seamless deployment and support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for macOS support, deployment, and configuration.
  • Assist with end-user support and train Helpdesk and field technicians as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing macOS devices with Microsoft Intune.
  • Proficiency in Bash and PowerShell scripting for macOS automation.
  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and MDM enrollment workflows.
  • Strong understanding of macOS system architecture, security, and user management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Azure AD and conditional access policies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software deployment and patching strategies.
  • Ability to create user-facing and internal documentation.
