About the Role

We are seeking an IT Certification Bootcamp Instructor - Remote to join the California Institute of Applied Technology (CIAT). This role offers the opportunity to teach and mentor students in various IT certification programs, ensuring they are job-ready upon graduation. As an instructor, you will work remotely, primarily teaching online courses, and will play a vital role in empowering students in their professional journeys.

What You'll Do

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams, engaging students in interactive learning experiences.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and success.
• Maintain current certifications in subjects taught, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and skills.
• Design and update course materials tailored for adult learners in IT certification programs.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies.
• Work full-time with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with staff and faculty to support student success and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching effectiveness and stay current in the field.

Requirements

• Certification in CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
• Preferred experience in a training or educational setting.
• Effective presentation and communication skills to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with learning technologies.
• Commitment to student success and inclusivity in the learning process.
• Strong problem-solving skills and multitasking ability to manage diverse student needs.
• Adherence to compliance and accreditation standards in educational practices.
