About the Role

Join us as an Intern in the Digital Marketing Programme, where you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while being part of the Annuities Direct Digital Marketing Team at Legal & General Group. As an intern, you will contribute to acquiring new customers by promoting our pension annuity product through various digital channels including SEO, PPC, and social media. What You'll Do

  • Conduct competitor and landscape research to inform marketing strategies.
  • Engage in keyword and prompt research to optimize content for SEO.
  • Assist in onsite content optimization and website editing to enhance user experience.
  • Create engaging social media content to promote our brand.
  • Monitor and report on PPC campaigns to assess performance and effectiveness.
  • Lead a total search SEO project, showcasing your initiative and creativity.
  • Collaborate with team members across various marketing disciplines.
  • Develop analytical skills through data-driven projects and reporting.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a penultimate-year undergraduate (graduating in 2027).
  • A 2:1 degree in any discipline; marketing or related fields are advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A passion for media and marketing with a creative approach.
  • Flexibility and a team-player attitude, thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the digital marketing field.
