Inside Sales Intern - Remote Opportunity for Aspiring Sales Professionals

About the Role

We are excited to offer a Remote Inside Sales Intern position at Calix North America. This full-time summer internship is designed for aspiring sales or marketing students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in sales and account management. As a Remote Inside Sales Intern, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders on various sales programs, update CRM tools for marketing and sales activities, and assist with data cleanup initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance sales programs and strategies.
• Update and maintain CRM tools to support marketing and sales activities.
• Research and gather content to aid in sales enablement.
• Contact prospects to set appointments and generate leads.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Participate in data cleanup initiatives to ensure CRM accuracy.
• Engage with team members to learn about the sales process and account management.
• Contribute to a collaborative and curious team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Sales.
• Preference for juniors and seniors in relevant fields.
• Prior internship experience in sales or marketing is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or other CRM tools is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable with making calls to prospects.
