Individual Giving Marketing Officer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

As an Individual Giving Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in planning and delivering compelling campaigns to engage and drive action from existing supporters. This remote position allows you to work on a range of products within this crucial income stream, including regular giving, cash, and lottery. At Maggie’s, we are excited about the opportunity to expand our reach and maximize the return on investment in this area, ultimately bringing our cancer care services to everyone who needs us.

What You'll Do

  • Project manage multi-channel direct marketing campaigns from pre-campaign insight and briefing through to delivery, optimization, and post-campaign review.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities to drive action from existing supporters through various channels.
  • Support the development and optimization of sector-leading journeys to retain and develop existing supporters.
  • Collaborate with and supervise external agencies and suppliers to ensure excellent work is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Review live metrics, make recommendations, and continuously test and learn to optimize campaigns.
  • Proactively identify new ways to engage supporters and grow income from Individual Giving.
  • Monitor market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and stay updated with sector developments.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key internal teams to deliver existing activities and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a charity fundraiser with a focus on Individual Giving.
  • Track record of delivering successful Individual Giving retention, upgrade, and re-activation campaigns.
  • Experience with various direct marketing channels, including direct mail, email, and telephone.
  • Knowledge of Individual Giving products, including Regular Giving, Cash, and Lottery.
  • Strong numerical skills and experience using insights to inform evidence-based decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of charity financial policies, fundraising guidelines, and data protection regulations.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Brilliant creative judgment to engage and inspire supporters.
