What You'll Do

  • Perform high-quality maintenance activities on heavy diesel equipment in accordance with approved systems and schedules.
  • Complete work orders using SAP processes, ensuring accurate history capture.
  • Execute planned and corrective tasks to meet maintenance standards.
  • Contribute to fault finding, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability improvements.
  • Scope corrective work to support effective planning and resource allocation.
  • Manage parts and materials, including accurate returns of unused or repairable items.
  • Report hazards and events promptly, supporting investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience maintaining heavy mobile plant in a mining or large-scale operational environment.
  • Demonstrated capability in performing preventative maintenance and major component change-outs.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with maintenance, production, and planning teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on safety awareness and attention to detail.
  • Successful completion of a Heavy Equipment Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship and a nationally recognized trade certification.
  • Current C class driver’s license.

Nice to Have

  • HR Class Driver’s License.
  • High Risk Work License for forklift and elevated work platform.
  • High Risk Dogman License and Overhead Crane certification.
  • Basic rigging certification.
