About the Role
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Health Information and EHR Systems Analyst Intern to join our training program at OCHIN. This remote internship is designed to prepare students to manage healthcare data and electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively. You will receive hands-on training in relevant technologies, including EPIC, SQL, Tableau, and Crystal Reports, which are essential for a successful career in health information management.
What You'll Do
- Participate in a comprehensive training program focused on managing healthcare data and EHR systems.
- Gain hands-on experience with EPIC, SQL, Tableau, and Crystal Reports.
- Learn about clinical data management and system implementation.
- Prepare for HIMSS CAHIMS certification through structured learning.
- Commit to 40 hours per week, engaging in both remote learning and hands-on internship components.
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and demonstrate great attention to detail in all tasks.
- Develop strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Enhance your communication skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Must be a resident of California and at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in MS Windows and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills are essential.
- Self-directed learning ability in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance is mandatory.
- Strong communication and technical troubleshooting skills are needed.
