About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of People - Remote to lead our HR strategy and initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will shape the employee experience, drive organizational culture, and ensure our people strategies align with our mission. As the Head of People - Remote, you will work closely with the executive team to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's goals and enhance employee engagement.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
  • Oversee performance management processes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Collaborate with department heads to design and implement effective training programs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head of People or similar HR leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS, talent acquisition, and change management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organizational success.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of people analytics and performance management best practices.
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations is a plus.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in youth development or public speaking.
  • Certification in HR management (e.g., SHRM, PHR).
