About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Production Loader to join our team at WestAir Gases & Equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and accurate loading of products onto delivery trucks, utilizing both manual handling and material moving equipment. As a General Production Loader remote position, you will play a vital role in our operations, contributing to our commitment to exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Identify ownership, sort, and palletize assets by size and product for efficient refilling and handling.
  • Perform visual and physical tests on cylinders and packs, including hammer and odor tests on empty cylinders as required.
  • Load cylinders onto appropriate routes/trucks in accordance with Roadnet reporting.
  • Report quantities loaded and any discrepancies from schedules to supervisors.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
  • Understand cylinder markings and ensure proper labeling of all cylinders.
  • Follow proper spills and emergency cleanup procedures.
  • Support waste reduction and recycling programs while maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Forklift certification is a must.
  • Dedication to customer service, safety, quality, and accuracy.
  • Experience in the gas industry and cylinder maintenance is preferred.
  • Able to handle up to 70 lbs on occasion.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and self-motivated.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and multitask effectively.

This position is full-time and requires on-site work in Anaheim, California. The expected hours are Monday through Friday, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with some overtime required but not guaranteed. Occasional overnight or weekend work may be necessary.
