Frontend Engineer - Cloud Services Development

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team at Money Forward, Inc. This Frontend Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative cloud services that solve financial issues through technology. You will be part of our growing Fukuoka development base, where we focus on enhancing user value in the frontend domain.

What You'll Do

• Develop and operate business-oriented cloud services, specifically "Money Forward Cloud Expenses" and "Money Forward Cloud Accounts Payable."
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance, accessibility, and user experience.
• Address technical debt and legacy development environments to improve overall product quality.
• Utilize modern frameworks such as React or Vue to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Engage in Agile development practices, including Scrum, to ensure timely delivery of features.

Requirements

• Experience in developing and operating web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in component-oriented frameworks like React or Vue.
• Basic business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 700 or above preferred).
• Experience with TypeScript and GraphQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and knowledge of UI/UX design principles.

Nice to Have

• Experience in setting up frontend development environments using tools like webpack.
• Practical experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with AI development tools to enhance development processes.
