Freelance Copywriter (Swedish/​Danish) - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Freelance Copywriter (Swedish/Danish) to join Butternut Box's mission to provide high-quality nutrition for dogs. This Freelance Copywriter (Swedish/Danish) remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to a brand that prioritizes health and happiness for pets and their owners.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging and captivating copy for various marketing channels tailored to the Swedish and Danish markets.
• Proofread and refine AI-generated and agency copy to ensure quality and consistency.
• Transcreate English concepts into high-quality local copy that resonates with our audience.
• Manage your own workflow and collaborate with internal teams to align on brand voice.
• Be the guardian of our brand voice in Swedish and Danish, ensuring it reflects our commitment to quality.
• Work approximately 5-8 hours per week on a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Native Swedish or Danish speaker (or both) with impeccable written skills.
• Proven experience in copywriting for D2C brands.
• Exceptional proofreading skills and a quality-first mindset.
• Deep understanding of brand voice and tone.
• Ability to create diverse content types.
• Strong portfolio of work showcasing your copywriting skills.
• Proficiency in Notion and/or Lokalise is a nice-to-have.
• Experience with Figma is advantageous.
