Entry-Level Customs Officer - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

Are you about to complete your bachelor's degree in customs, goods handling, and border control, and ready to make a difference? Tolletaten is looking for you to use your skills to help the agency fulfill its important societal mission. As an Entry-Level Customs Officer, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting and varied tasks that are central to Norway's border control and goods flow.

What You'll Do

• Conduct operational border control duties.
• Guide the public and businesses on customs regulations.
• Handle customs processing based on your assigned location.
• Participate in shift work as required.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure compliance with customs laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in customs, goods handling, and border control (must be completed before employment).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and conversational English.
• Class B driver's license.
• Ability to provide satisfactory standard and extended police clearance upon job offer.
• Integrity and values that align with Tolletaten's mission.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.
