What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

• Oversee the development lifecycle of engineering projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Enhance engineering processes and streamline workflows for improved efficiency.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous design reviews and testing.
• Contribute to engineering strategy and roadmap, making data-driven decisions.
• Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in Elixir/Phoenix or functional programming languages.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud technologies.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers, fostering their growth.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of software development best practices.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
