ELV Design Engineer - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an ELV Design Engineer remote to join our innovative team at Tata Projects. As an ELV Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and validating Extra Low Voltage systems for Data Center infrastructure, ensuring compliance with international standards and customer specifications.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop ELV systems for data centers, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, and building management systems.
- Prepare design deliverables such as concept designs, system architecture diagrams, and detailed technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as TIA-942, NFPA, and ISO standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for product selection and technical evaluation.
- Provide site support during implementation, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and conduct design audits for quality assurance.
- Stay updated with new ELV technologies and recommend smart solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, telecom, or instrumentation.
- Experience in ELV system design and engineering for data centers.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance.
- Strong coordination and project management skills.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and conduct risk assessments.
Nice to Have
- BICSI or relevant certification.
- Experience with AI video analytics and DCIM platforms.
- Knowledge of cyber-secure access control technologies.
