Director of Estimation - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Estimation - Remote to lead our estimation team and drive cost analysis initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the estimation process for various projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams. As a key player in our organization, you will have the opportunity to influence business growth and strategic sourcing decisions.

What You'll Do

• Lead the estimation team in developing accurate cost estimates for projects, utilizing advanced estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Implement best practices in cost estimation and analysis to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and EPA standards throughout the estimation process.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role within estimation or cost analysis, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and estimating software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in strategic planning and procurement processes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CNC machining processes.
• Experience in consumer-packaged goods or product development.
• Knowledge of EHS management practices.
