Data Analyst Intern - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Data Analyst Intern - Remote to join our Implementation team at Hypersonix. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with customers and data scientists to build analytical dashboards and machine learning capabilities tailored to customer needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis while contributing to impactful projects.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Implementation team to translate business requirements into analytical outputs, including dashboards and reports.
• Support data exploration and profiling, working closely with the Data Engineering (DE) team to build effective data models.
• Mentor and train junior analysts, helping them grow their expertise in data analysis.
• Coordinate with the DE and Software Engineering (SE) teams to perform data validation and ensure accuracy against client control totals.
• Work with the Data Science (DS) team to conduct analytical quality assurance on outputs and ensure they meet client expectations.
• Capture client requirements from Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and collaborate with product managers to refine these requirements.
• Review analytical outputs and prepare insights to present to customers, leveraging your domain and data understanding.
• Utilize SQL and programming languages such as Python or R to extract and analyze data, generating insights from large datasets.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and statistical modeling.
• Experience with BI tools for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
• Self-driven and motivated, capable of delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and scope.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the E-commerce/Retail domain is a plus.
