Customer Service Representative - Remote (Mortgage Servicing Experience Required)

About the Role

We're hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our team at loanDepot. This fully remote position is ideal for individuals with mortgage servicing experience who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their mortgage inquiries and concerns, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience.

What You'll Do

  • Provide best-in-class customer service while assisting with general mortgage inquiries and concerns.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to current and early-stage delinquent accounts.
  • Effectively respond to internal and external customer emails and voicemails.
  • Assist with various customer inquiries, including escrow, payment transactions, and payoff requests.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the team.

Requirements

  • Mortgage servicing experience is required.
  • Call center experience with early-stage collections is preferred.
  • Experience with escrow and MSP/Black Knight is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task effectively.
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar educational background is preferred.

  • Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and standards.
