beehiiv is seeking a talented Corporate Counsel to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a Corporate Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and support to our organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. What You'll Do

• Provide legal advice on a variety of corporate matters, including contracts, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect the interests of the company.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Counsel or in a similar legal role.
• Strong understanding of corporate law and compliance issues.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the tech industry or with SaaS companies.
• Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations.
• Membership in a state bar association.
