Condition Monitoring Analyst - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Condition Monitoring Analyst remote to join our team at WesTrac. In this role, you will leverage data and technology to enhance equipment performance and support our customers in making informed maintenance decisions. Your work will have a direct impact on reducing downtime and improving machine availability.

What You'll Do

• Remotely monitor and analyze asset health data to identify emerging issues across CAT machines.
• Utilize specialist software/tools to prioritize and interpret condition monitoring inputs.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to help customers optimize equipment performance.
• Prepare professional reports that demonstrate the value of condition monitoring.
• Maintain and review connected assets to ensure accurate, reliable data flow.
• Support and mentor stakeholders and customers on best practices in asset health management.
• Play an active role in supporting maintenance decisions and improving fleet performance.

Requirements

• A qualification in mechanical/engineering discipline or a mechanical trade (desirable).
• Experience in condition monitoring, asset health, or earthmoving equipment performance (desirable).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and interpret complex data.
• Excellent attention to detail and report-writing capability.
• A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong, positive relationships.
• Confidence working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Great organizational and time-management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CAT equipment or similar machinery.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of industry standards in asset management.
