About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Platform Engineer - AWS Remote to join our team at Vortech PCI Group. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow into a cloud architecture role within a modern and international environment. As a Cloud Platform Engineer - AWS Remote, you will be instrumental in building and evolving our AWS cloud platform.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the evolution of the cloud foundation, focusing on multi-account architecture, networking, security, and observability.
• Implement and enhance AWS foundations including IAM, networking, and logging.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Support security and compliance controls, ensuring adherence to guardrails and auditing standards.
• Configure basic observability with CloudWatch, including logs, metrics, alarms, and dashboards.

Requirements

• Practical experience with AWS services such as VPC, IAM, and networking.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Fluent in English (C1 level) for an international work environment.
• Strong platform mentality focused on automation, organization, and standards.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
• Familiarity with Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, and KMS.
• Interest or experience in approaching cloud architecture.
