About the Role

We are seeking an AI Solutions Developer to join our Finance team at Stripe. This AI Solutions Developer remote position offers a unique opportunity to leverage AI technologies to transform finance operations. You will play a key role in operationalizing AI agents at scale, supporting our mission to enhance the efficiency of finance teams.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to build and operationalize AI-powered automation solutions that transform finance workflows.
  • Automate manual processes and design agents using internal platforms, ensuring Finance teams can maintain these solutions independently.
  • Work closely with Finance subject matter experts to translate requirements into technical solutions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Identify platform limitations and collaborate with Engineering to scope and test custom tools, ensuring effective integration into agent workflows.
  • Establish reusable components to accelerate the portfolio of Finance AI use cases, enhancing the overall efficiency of finance operations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Technical Operations, or Business Intelligence.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and data pipeline logic.
  • Experience with emerging AI tools, automation platforms, and RPA.
  • Strong analytical skills to debug complex problems and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Familiarity with modern data tools such as Python and ETL processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar frameworks.
  • Background in Finance Operations or Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Experience navigating complex financial systems and understanding data flow.
