We are seeking a Technical Engineering Director - LLMs / Machine Learning / NLP to join our innovative AI-focused technology company. As a Technical Engineering Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI initiatives while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of complex ML and LLM projects from scoping through deployment.
• Translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions and new intellectual property.
• Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams.
• Allocate talent across multiple projects to meet business priorities.
• Act as a senior technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with other directors, Product, and Platform teams.
• Represent the department in strategic and technical discussions with clients.

Requirements

• Strong experience with LLMs and applied Machine Learning.
• Master’s degree minimum in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering applied ML or NLP solutions in the industry.
• Hands-on leadership experience managing teams and multi-project pipelines.
• Strong Python and ML framework experience.
• Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Previous experience in a director-level role.
