Senior QA Engineer - Remote Position for B2B SaaS

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our fully remote team at Blue Coding. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our client's B2B SaaS applications. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about quality assurance and is looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist in developing and executing manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software bugs using tools like Jira.
• Collaborate with QA Lead and developers to validate end-user workflows, bug fixes, and perform regression testing.
• Contribute to test plans, documentation, and QA process improvement initiatives.
• Learn and use testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or similar and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Participate in agile sprints and ensure high test coverage for new and existing features.
• Support accessibility, security, and performance testing best practices.
• Help incorporate AI tools into QA workflows for test automation or bug detection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or completion of a QA or software testing bootcamp.
• Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer, with ownership over quality strategy and execution, not only test automation.
• Strong QA mindset, with the ability to balance manual testing, exploratory testing, and automation.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other QAs, or acting as a reference point for quality-related decisions.
• Basic understanding of testing principles and familiarity with QA tools such as Jira, Selenium, TestRail, Playwright, or Postman.
• Strong attention to detail, investigative skills, and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and reproduce issues accurately.
• Willingness to learn automated testing frameworks and grow in the QA engineering career path.
