What You'll Do

  • Provide remote customer support for Hitachi Vantara's Global Customer community.
  • Manage and analyze diagnostic data to improve service delivery.
  • Conduct remote health checks and manage microcode upgrades efficiently.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners for effective remote maintenance.
  • Document technical problems and solutions for our knowledge base.
  • Work under minimal supervision in a global team environment.
  • Support new products and systems as required.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to resolve issues.
  • Manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment while maintaining agreed service levels.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer support roles, particularly in a remote setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet customer needs.
  • Experience with remote support tools like WEBEX and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of IP Networking, cloud solutions, and programming languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and VMware.
  • Experience with enterprise storage solutions is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping others.
