What You'll Do

  • Develop engaging strategies and content to attract and retain customers, focusing on achieving team goals.
  • Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to execute the go-to-market process, including communication and project execution.
  • Collaborate internally to produce high-quality marketing content and provide thought leadership.
  • Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring deadlines are met and content is delivered on time.
  • Edit, proofread, and improve content with attention to SEO, voice, and tone.
  • Analyze web traffic and engagement metrics to refine and optimize editorial strategies.
  • Engage as a subject matter expert on audience sentiment and content performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or Business.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in higher education content writing.
  • Experience leveraging a marketing tech stack, such as HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics, or WordPress.
  • Strong initiative to stay updated on AI, new technologies, and marketing trends.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify target audiences and craft unique strategies to reach them.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a group.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fundraising/donor management or public relations.
  • Knowledge of SEO and persona targeting best practices.
  • Creative mindset with a wide degree of creativity.
