About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Platform Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data platforms that support our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and availability, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop scalable data platforms using technologies such as Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, and Databricks.
  • Implement ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation, ensuring high data quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide necessary data solutions.
  • Utilize DevOps practices to automate deployment and monitoring of data pipelines.
  • Support data architecture initiatives, focusing on cloud-native solutions and distributed systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and its data services.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance.
  • Familiarity with tools such as DataIku, Collibra, or QuickSight is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with NoSQL databases and data analytics frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with DataOps methodologies.
